Healthy Vegan Frosting
This SUPER Easy and Healthy Frosting will blow your mind!
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews
- 3/4 cup vegetable milk (I use soy)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Soak cashews 4 hours in water or 10 minutes in hot water.
- Blend all the ingredients until smooth and let cool in the fridge before serving.
Notes
TIP: I usually heat water in the microwave for 2 minutes and then let the cashews for 10 minutes.
If you have sweet tooth you can add a tablespoon of Favourite HEALTHY SWEETENER ā Date Paste to the blender and a pich of cinnamon.
You can modify the quantities in half or in double, it depends on the cake or dessert you bake. If you want the frosting for a cake I recommend you to make the quantities in half.
